A
revolutionary glass treatment which greatly reduces
glass maintenance
time. The treatment is invisible to the eye and is
applied in our factory, prior to installation.
What is Diamond Fusion?
It is a treatment put on the glass in order to make glass cleaning easier.
How does it work?
Glass is naturally porous, consequently dirt and grime
become entrenched in the microscopic ridges over
time. This can result in a hazy appearance on parts
of the glass.
Diamond Fusion treatment ‘fills in’ the
glass pores, by growing an optically clear film from
the inside of the glass out, and then ‘caps’ the
surface leaving a smooth impenetrable surface.
Dirt particles remain on the glass surface, making
the screen much easier to clean.
NOTE: Diamond Fusion treatment greatly reduces time
and effort required to clean treated surfaces, it does
NOT make the treated surface self cleaning!
The effect of Diamond Fusion on screens is similar
to Teflon on cooking pans. Pans without non-stick coatings
are often difficult or impossible to clean, whereas
coated pans clean up rather easily.
How does Diamond Fusion differ from other Glass Maintenance
products in the market?
Most other Glass Maintenance products are applied to
the surface of the glass only, forming a Hydrogen bond
with the glass. Diamond Fusion results in changes to
the glass surface, forming stronger Covalent bonds.
What products can be Diamond Fused?
Most silica based products e.g. CLEAN glass, porcelain,
unsealed granite bench tops and glazed tiles. Tiled
floors will not be treated.
How long does it last?
Guarenteed for 5 years. It can be reapplied, but needs
stripping first.
Harsh granular cleaners should not be used on treated
surface.
Can I treat an old screen?
Yes. The screen must be cleaned first to achieve maximum
results.
How should a Diamond Fused screen be cleaned?
A wipe over once a week, with the glove provided, and
rinse off with clean cold water should be sufficient. In
case of grime buildup, apply a little soap to the
glove and gently wash over the area and rinse off with
cold water.
