WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN A FRAMELESS GLASS SHOWER SCREEN?

We all suffer from ‘build up’ forming on our frameless glass shower screens, usually towards the base of the glass panels. It’s usually caused by dirty water (water containing soap, shampoo’s, chemicals/minerals) being left to dry on the frameless glass. Left untreated, this ‘build up’ can etch itself into the glass shower screen pores, giving a milky/cloudy appearance and is almost impossible to remove.

The best way to clean your frameless shower screen glass is not with harsh chemical cleaners, but with a detergent product like ‘Morning Fresh washing up liquid’. This detergent is not harmful on your glass and shower screen hardware and, being a detergent, will break down the ‘build up’ on the glass.

Apply full strength ‘Morning Fresh washing up liquid’ onto a microfibre cloth and wipe on the frameless glass screen. Let sit on the glass for a few minutes and then wash off. For best results, and to make the the glass stay clearer longer, it is best to squeegee the glass shower screen down after each use. This removes the dirty water from drying on the glass.
